Lead Pipeline Integrity Engineer

You will be working alongside many engineers with 20+ years' experience in pipeline integrity assessment and management and interfacing regularly with the Integrity Services Centre of Excellence on the development and operationalisation of new products.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>A multi-functional role, primarily focussed on delivering timely and accurate assessment of pipeline integrity and guidance on the assurance of future integrity for a wide range of customers across the world. Alongside this task you will use you excellent communication skills to support our clients in their questions and queries. You will engage with our Sales and Commercial Operations teams to refine our understanding of customer needs and define well structured scopes of work. You will work with our Integrity Centre of Excellence to support their delivery of new products in response to the evolving needs of our customers.<br><br>As a Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Conducting fitness for purpose evaluations of pipelines based on corrosion, fracture mechanics and other mechanical engineering principles using BH processes and software and the relevant standards on pipeline integrity as requested by the customer</li><li>Presenting results of the various integrity engineering assessments undertaken - (at BH or customers facilities, as required, this may entail international travel up to 1 week)</li><li>Managing the project execution in terms of main contract deliverables - Delivery, Scope Compliance, Quality and Profitability</li><li>Proactively identifying, quantifying, mitigating and communicating project risk with key stakeholder to optimise the level of service to our customers</li><li>Participating in fully in project execution and build long term relationships with customers and peers to maximise the effectiveness and level of client focus with which you deliver</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li>Have a Bachelors Degree in an Engineering subject (modules or studies specific to Pipeline Integrity would be highly advantageous to your application)</li><li>Have significant and demonstrated hands on and commercial experience in a Pipeline Integrity engineering background</li><li>Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and high calibre interactions across a range of audiences</li><li>Show ability to work and contribute in a Global team environment and experience delivering in a dynamic, matrixed organisation</li><li>Have profound knowledge and understanding of pipeline defect types and pipeline integrity fundamentals</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.<br><br><b>Working with us</b><br><br>Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
