The Electricity Security Group is currently looking for a Power Systems Research Intern with an interest in developing platforms for co-simulation of transmission and distribution electricity grids and analyzing the system wide effect of policies focused on decarbonization through distributed energy resources. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must be matriculated/enrolled in a Master's program at an accredited college or university. Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with or interest in some combination of the following: Complex, simulation-based analysis or co-simulation Power system studies Agent-based modeling Strong programming skills, experience with Python or Julia a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment Hazardous Working Conditions/Environment Not Applicable.
