We are a highly recognized team who successfully deliver the highest quality of service to our customers.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br>As Machinist, you will be responsible for Setting up and operates special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe and/or mill), and/or numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers for fabrication of metallic and nonmetallic parts that hold to the high quality machine standards required within the organization, you will also be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.<br></li><li>Starting and observing machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls as required.<br></li><li>Being able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.<br></li><li>Demonstrating intermediate or potential skill level (indicate part, turn OD's, and qualify ID and OD) on different machines; CNC mill, CNC lathe, and NC (figure feed rates), manual mill, brouch, drill press, rework lathe/press lathe.<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have High School Diploma or equivalent, with related experience, or fresh graduate with technical diploma from relevant mechanical background.<br></li><li>Be able to lift 20KG-25KG of weight.<br></li><li>Be able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.<br></li><li>Be better to have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T).<br></li><li>Be better able to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.<br></li><li>Be better able to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.<br><br><b>Working with us</b><br>Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
