Specialist, Maintenance Control

Responsibilities The Maintenance Control Specialist acts as administrative support to Maintenance Control. The Maintenance Control Specialist will be tasked with inputting and analyzing TRAX data such as delays, deferrals, components ordered, transcribing that data into the daily reports for Spirit Management. Inputs log pages when provided by contract maintenance stations Ensurse proper delay entries have been made in TRAX Completes internal auditing tasks within Maintenance Control Provides daily and weekly reports to Maintenance Control Management Assists Maintenance Control in New Part effectivity forms Communicates MEL assignments with Frontline to ensure high rate of completion and accurate parts entry Assists the Contract Maintenance team in administrative duties such as; maintaining the roster of contractors, resetting access to Spirit IT systems, and updating the contact sheets for all contract cities. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g. emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments.) Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) 1-3 years' experience No travel required Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Must be present at the Worksite 100% of the time Specialized Skills Preferred background in aviation Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
