íI COORDINATOR WICHITA Pratt Industries USA is seeking a full time EDI Coordinator to join our applications team in Wichita, KS. Responsibilities: Include development, integration and support of EDI and eCommerce business initiatives. Applicant will develop EDI definitions and maps for ANSI and EDIFACT transaction sets, monitor and support daily EDI processing, and communicate and coordinate projects with customers, business partners and outside resources. This is a client facing position which requires excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to follow up, perform diagnosis and provide resolution. Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience. Some travel is required. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science (or similar), upcoming degree completion, or equivalent work experience. Beneficial Qualifications/Experience: Sterling Gentran/Sterling B2B Integrator EDI Software. Experience with ANSI/EDI transaction sets. Knowledge of SQL and programming. Experience with Oracle/MSSQL database. Linux/Unix/Windows Server environments. Linux/Windows Shell scripting Oracle PLSQL Object-Oriented Programming skills with modern languages (.Net, Java, Java Web, SQL, PHP) LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and systems manuals/handbooks. Ability to write technical procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present and communicate technical information and respond to questions from groups of managers, co-workers, vendors, and customers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, volume, and net present value. Ability to evaluate technical alternatives and interpret systems performance figures and statistics. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. TECHNICAL SKILLS Proficient in MS Office (including Word and Excel as well as other MS software) Hardware and software systems support (experience in company specific hardware and software or similar required) PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, sit and stand. Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS The performance of the Systems Administrator will be measured as follows: Operating standards - The employee will need to meet or exceed the Operating Standards set in the areas of quality, cost, planning, customer and coworker satisfactions, efficiency, and productivity. Such standards will be set annually and communicated to the administrator. Personal growth - Each year there will be professional goals developed and agreed to by the manager and supervisor. Employee relations – The employee will be evaluated regarding behaviors associated with appropriate human interaction, respect and communication.
