For more information, please visit www.wipro.com Role: IT Strategy Project Manager Skills & Responsibilities: Project planning, execution, and control for risk initiatives Identifying and managing to the critical path and milestones of a schedule Identification of risks which impact project deliverables with follow through on mitigation, resolution and path to green Closely monitor project progress and ensure timely completion Adhere to End client project management processes and procedures. Direct the communication of status and issues to all stakeholders on a timely basis Prepare and report project status on a regular basis, including metrics needed for various risk groups Understanding of Data Center IT components that include End User Computing, Telephony/Voice, Network, Storage and Distributed systems Some understanding of Databases, Middleware systems, Operating Systems and Replication Able to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting for the identification of best practices Fluent in the Microsoft tool suite including SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project Good analytical and problem solving skills Good oral and written communication skills Good presentation skills Execution oriented with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams Ability to lead meetings and drive to conclusions Experienced in communicating with project stakeholders Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and foster internal relationships Proven track record in delivery of multiple parallel projects Proven track record of operational process changes and improvement Understanding of regulatory requirements Wipro is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and makes all employment and employment-related decisions without regard to a person's race, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability, sexual orientation, or any other status protected by applicable law.
