For more information, you can enter www.pepsico.com Now we are looking for this position: Global Import & Export Excellence and Contiuous Improvement Manager Main Purpose The Global Import and Export (IE) Excellence and Continuous Improvement Manager will lead a team that supports strategic I/E decision making for the various PEP businesses (i.e. make vs. buy decisions, I/E scorecard /business reviews, contribution to sourcing decisions, standard SOPs and processes, I/E innovation evaluation, etc.) and will support training, learning and development, and capability build for the full I/E capability. One of the major unlocks from the I/E project was the lack of scorecards, KPIs, consistent financial growth and service data to effectively and consistently action continuous improvement opportunities. This team will create, maintain, and conduct analysis in support of the globe and various business sectors and assist with business case development. The second major unlock was on defining standard import/ export processes and ensure consistent understanding and application of those to ensure customs compliance globally. This team will build, own and maintain these SOPs and ensure execution in compliance and manage governmental program submissions. Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities: Lead standardization, continuous improvement, and knowledge management to unlock overall I/E and Customs & Trade optimization and decision making across sectors Build, own, and govern SOPs for various I/E and C&T processes aligning sector and I/E teams and insuring execution Provide consistent and reliable data and analysis for commercialization, sector teams, and various leadership for I/E cost analysis and strategic decisions where needed (Make vs Buy, Sourcing, etc..) Contribute to a 4% YOY productivity from Import-Export (Customs, Duties, Assessorial charges) through cost transformation contributing to the delivery of ~$65 MM to PEP 2023-2025 and develop detailed plans for additional years 2026+. Analyze all import/export operations across globe in order to identify possible C&T optimization opportunities and related compliance impacts seeking to reduce risks, compliance issues, and governmental audits. Lead various continuous improvement projects and support I/E teams with data, coaching, obstacle removal as they work to resolve issues or capture opportunity (Incl automation and standardization); Manage pipeline of C&T initiatives Evaluate near and long-term data and technology enablement strategy for Import-Export organization by working closely with sectors and IT functions and implement it across the global landscape Lead regular cadence of business reviews with capability, business and function leadership utilizing strategic and operational scorecards Lead capability build for the overall I/E team establishing training programs and standards for the various capability areas and insuring training is completed at right intervals and continues to keep the team on the leading edge of ever-changing regulatory environment and reducing other risk Establish Global communities of practice for I/E improving sector collaboration with Global team and with each other and sharing best practices Design/Establish/Maintain Global I/E repository (sharepoint) for information, standards, reports, training materials, connection point for the global user community Build digital tools, reports and capabilities in support of I/E operations (Power apps, power BI) leveraging citizen developer capabilities and specialist I&E platforms like Trade Activator. Lead AEO and similar Global Security Program management – annual submissions, updates, changes, and research Qualifications Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Finance degree Minimum 5 years operations, global transportation and/or, Customs & trade experience Ability to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units and functions Utilize technical/functional knowledge that creates opportunities and solves business problems English Fluency both written and verbal required; exceptional communication skills across global businesses (additional languages a plus) Strong track record to manage multiple competing cross-functional priorities Experience as a program lead or owner – developing a strategy and deploying it across a business or function Experience developing and deploying large, complex best practices or projects Experience with IT platforms and tools including design,configuration, development and implementation Proficient with Process Improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Belt and/or Agile certification) Proven project Leadership: Project management and team approach to deliver large scale change initiatives Experience directly leading cross-functional competencies, people, and teams Advanced excel and other Microsoft tools (Powerapps, PowerBI/Tableau) In PepsiCo, we are committed to offer equal development opportunities to all the candidates, no matter the religion, race, sexual orientation, nationality, age, etc. We respect and appreciate the diversity as a workforce and innovation to the organization.
