Let's come together and take energy forward.<br><br>Our Upstream Chemicals team oversees our technology solutions for hydrocarbon production, transportation and processing. We provide chemicals and support to enhance plant processes, improve productivity, manage water treatment, and resolve environmental issues.<br><br><b> Partner with the best </b><br><br>As our Account Manager you will provide onshore and offshore production chemistry support to client and offshore chemists in the fulfilment of account requirements whilst ensuring all HSEQ requirements are met. This role primarily functions as account management service representative supporting contracted work with companies producing within the Norwegian Continental Shelf.<br><br>As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Advising our customers within the areas of Flow Assurance , Production Optimization and Integrity Management .</li><li>Meeting customer expectations through immediate and timely problem solving.</li><li>Development of short- and long-range sales goals through identifying potential new growth opportunities and drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Lead new technology introduction to customer</li><li>Managing technical projects and offshore chemical trials</li><li>Bringing strategic selling experience to this role and lead projects from start to finish.</li><li>Supporting day to day production chemistry for client asset, interfacing with the relevant client functions and departments</li><li>Coordinating laboratory work scopes, providing technical assistance to support customer accounts</li><li>Coordinating chemical sampling, testing and analysis completed offshore, including data review and troubleshooting</li><li>Supporting internal work allocation and planning, HSE investigations, employee development and training, and performance feedback</li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br>To be successful in this role you have:<br><ul><li>a Degree qualification in chemistry, biology, process technology or relevant sciences.</li><li>>3 years experience of working in production chemicals/oilfield chemistry</li><li>Experience of supporting customer accounts and/or co-ordination of offshore activities</li><li>Experience of managing technical projects</li><li>Experience of providing chemical services in an offshore environment</li><li>Experience of working in a chemical laboratory would be beneficial</li><li>Experience of working with HSE and QA standards and practices</li><li>Have the ability to manage multiple project and deadlines, focused on problem resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Have good leadership capabilities and ability to manage and coordinate field personnel, forecasting and scheduling</li><li>Knowledge of chemical hazards and general health, safety, environment and welfare considerations, and general housekeeping responsibilities within a chemical environment, particularly in relation to the supervision of personnel.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English and Norwegian.</li><li>Skills in the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly excel.</li></ul><br><br><b> Working with us </b><br><br>Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
