FIELD SPECIALIST II - Mud Logging/Data Engineer

Our innovative physical and digital solutions improve efficiency, production and maximize reservoir value. <br><br><b> Partner with the best </b><br><br>The Field Specialist will work an adhoc offshore rotation and will be in charge of data collection, geological analysis, well monitoring, reporting and wellsite communication. They will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and supply levels offshore.<br><br>As a Field Specialist (Data Engineer / Mud Logger), you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Ensuring all operator and BH HS&E policies and procedures are understood and followed<br></li><li>Ensuring that all equipment and services are functioning properly and accurately recording data to the database.<br></li><li>Performing regular and frequent calibration checks of instruments and routine maintenance is performed as required on all equipment.<br></li><li>Notifying well site personnel of any anticipated or observed drilling problems related to geology, detection of a kick, or lost circulation.<br></li><li>Managing the database, ensuring the quality and integrity of well data; ensure that real time data is reliable and meets requirements.<br></li><li>Establishing accurate and comprehensive client logs and their updates including standard SLS set, times, prints and plots requested by Client<br></li><li>Rigging-Up units and all equipment as required, conforming to scope of work. Ensure all installations are performed in a safe manner.<br></li><li>Submitting detailed reports of equipment or software malfunctions and report the action(s) taken to repair or solve the problems.<br></li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have a Bachelor's Degree or HND/ HNC with significant mud logging experience<br></li><li>Have the flexibility to work any schedule offshore based on business needs<br></li><li>Have previous M/LWD (*Logging Whilst Drilling) experience and knowledge would be desirable (potential for a cross trained field specialist to ARTE engineer)<br></li><li>Have flexibility to work any schedule offshore based on business needs<br></li></ul><br><br><b> Work in a way that works for you </b><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
