Materials Coordinator

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br><b> Materials Coordinator - Rotating Equipment, Immingham Based </b><br><br> Wood require a Materials Coordinator with Rotating Equipment expertise to join our Operations & Maintenance business on a permanent staff basis. The appointed will join an established team on a major ongoing Oil Refinery Maintenance contract at our client site in Immingham. <br><br>Key interfaces will include, Rotating Equipment Team Lead, Client Rotating Engineers, Client Rotating Coordinator and Offsite Vendors whilst ensuring Rotating Equipment materials are set to required specifications on the BOM (Bill of materials). <br><br><b> Join a culture of innovation , pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients. </b> <br><br> Alongside our benefits package, the client site also offers a flexible working pattern arrangement every other Friday. As part of the role the appointed will deliver a high quality, consistent and competent Materials Coordinator service in accordance with project, company requirements, standards, and procedures. <br><br>If all of this sounds good to you, review the typical responsibilities of the role and the requirements of the position below, then follow the link to apply and start your journey with Wood. <br><br><b> Responsibilities include but are not limited to: </b><br><ul><li> Responsible for coordination of offsite work scopes including raising PO's on behalf of Prax. </li><li> Work closely with Rotating Team Lead/Rotating Engineers & Coordinator to define required work scopes. </li><li> Co-ordinate with offsite vendors to manage and track offsite work scopes and expediting where required. </li><li> Ensure efficiency of rotating equipment work scopes are not impacted by delays for incorrect materials or offsite delays. </li><li> Carry out standard quality checks on spares to ensure all are to correct specification upon delivery. </li><li> Manage repairable spares with offsite vendors. </li><li> Provide accurate cost estimates for planned offsite work scopes for Client Rotating Coordinator/Engineers. </li><li> Compile all relevant documentation (paper and electronic) to create an 'Execution Dossier' for work execution including quality approval / sign off. </li><li> Request provisional quotation costs for materials / subcontracts to add to the work order estimate. </li><li> Provide relevant information to the procurement team for client requisition and reservation of parts and materials needed for maintenance tasks. </li><li> Initiate amendment to update the CMMS Bill of Materials (B.O.M) master as required. </li><li> Create work order standard task lists for repetitive / routine maintenance tasks. </li><li> Review content of current standard task lists and amend as required. </li><li> Be SAP user friendly and have strong IT skills. </li></ul><br><br><b> The opportunity will ensure management of: </b><br><ul><li> All Rotating Equipment spares and materials. </li><li> Quality check all stores rotating equipment components and R otating Equipment work scopes to be sent offsite. </li><li> Repairable spares for rotating equipment, valves, etc. </li><li> Liaise with external vendors for and coordinate arrangements. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>At Wood, we understand and acknowledge that everyone is different, and we are committed to equal opportunities and want to access all of the talent that is out there.
