We are hiring a SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS SPECIALIST with a strong background in INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS PLANNING and ORDER MANAGEMENT to join the Schneider Electric Solar and Storage team in RICHMOND BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA. What will you do? Administer end-to-end Supply Chain coordination with a priority on logistics, and expediting from our factories to global warehouse locations and finally to end user customers Oversee the warehouse operations by organizing item reception, storage, inventory management, order preparation and final shipment to end customers. Support Sales and Quality Teams with order processing, distribution and coordination of shipments, pre-sales and post sales queries, stock level management, logistics and product information. Work with Category Managers to organize transportation flows and solutions, including international shipments which require knowledge of customs and tariff implications. Foster relationships with logistics providers and carriers to expedite and identify trends, bottlenecks, and solutions. Create dashboards, presentations, and recommendations showing market analysis and trends. Cost tracking and identification of cost planning optimization opportunities (ie: consolidation of shipments, scheduling, cost research and analysis) What qualifications will make you successful? Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or a related field with 2-4 years’ experience in order management, project support and/or logistics. Comprehension of international logistics (incoterms, multimodal transport), transportation flows, trade compliance, customs regulations, Third-Party Logistics providers (3PL), familiarity with ERPs Proficient in order management and logistics planning with experience using Oracle based systems and/or Kinaxis, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), as well as advanced Excel skills Ability to take direction from multiple sources, prioritize and multi-task under pressure Ability to think with a global mindset, working with an international culturally diverse team where you will foster trusting relationships with colleagues Flexibility is key – we offer a fast-paced exciting atmosphere, and you possess an entrepreneurial spirit, are proactive and want to learn to achieve great results together!
