Manager, Sterile Processing

Þpartment Sterile Processing Job Summary This leader has operational accountability and oversight, and manages the daily activities of the Sterile Processing department. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals. Required Qualifications - Require three (3) years of sterile processing management experience. - Require two (2) years previous supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer knowledge of sterile processing management processes. - Prefer the ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively. - Prefer proficiency in the advanced use of computer software and database queries in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, MS Projects, PowerPoint, PS Query, etc.). - Prefer knowledge of sterile processing instrument tracking systems. - Prefer strong team leadership and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage personnel - Prefer operational re-design and improvement experience leveraging software to improve process, efficiency, or customer service. Mandatory Education - Require a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field. Relevant experience can substitute on a year to year basis for the required degree. Preferred License and Certs FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License
