Steelwork Supervisor

<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />
<br />
Wood is currently recruiting for Structural Supervisor (Steelwork Supervisor).</p>

<ul>
<li>Familiar with bolting / torquing mechanical fastening of structural steel</li>
<li>Follows up the steel fabrication activities in the shop and field</li>
<li>Monitors progress of steel fabrication and assembly activities in the shop and field with reference to actual steel drawings</li>
<li>Checks dimensional control of fabricated steel , also within the manufacturing tolerances described in EN-1090</li>
<li>Report deviations from actual fabrication and assembly steel drawings</li>
<li>Check as-built drawings</li>
<li>Reports to directly construction manager</li>
</ul>

<br />
<b>Skills / Qualifications</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Vocation, Diploma, or bachelor&
39;s degree in civil or related field</li>
<li>Knowledge of EN-1090</li>
<li>Read plotplans . structural steel drawings, structural steel fabrication drawings</li>
<li>Knowledge of welding symbols</li>
<li>minimum 10 year experience in a construction department in a structural steel fabrication environment</li>
