Sr. Data Developer, Manufacturing

SENIOR DATA DEVELOPER - MANUFACTURING OVERVIEW Technology at General Mills accelerates process transformation and business growth around the globe. This individual will create and maintain manufacturing reports and dashboards, ensure the solutions are sustainable, and follow General Mills’ Engineering standards to deliver information back to our plant floor. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Act as a key reporting and dashboarding technical resource with deep technical expertise Collaborate to develop the reporting and dashboarding roadmap Participate in the evaluation, implementation, and deployment reporting and dashboarding tools in the Manufacturing Analytics space Implement sustainable tools & processes to support the Manufacturing and General Mills reporting and dashboarding ecosystem Develop communication & education plans for technical teams on technologies and processes in our ecosystem MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree; 3+ years of hands-on experience building complex reports, dashboards, and data applications 3+ years of hands-on programming experience with one or more of Python, JavaScript, etc. 3+ years of experience working with database systems and strong in Oracle Experience Experience with modern Cloud platforms Having used general software engineering tools and processes like git, Jenkins, Intellij/Eclipse, Bash terminal, Jira/progress tracking, Agile Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills Effective analytical and technical skills Ability to work in a team environment Ability to research, plan, organize, lead, and implement new processes or technology PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering degree preferred Strong Python and/or JavaScript coding skills (Plotly Dash, RShiny) Experience with agile techniques or methods ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS The preferred location for this role is Minneapolis, MN however remote work-at-home applications within the United States will be considered. Relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered
