Job Summary The Network Operations Analysts have the knowledge and troubleshooting abilities on TDM T1's, DS3's etc. He/She must have skills in routing protocols and troubleshooting network issues. The Network Analyst directly supports a global environment and is responsible for frontline surveillance of customer WAN connections. He/She will perform routine tasks to maintain network and server equipment while relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. A quick thinker who is able to multitask several issues at once and fast learner. Job Description Core Responsibilities & Qualifications: Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify problems with systems, applications, and networks Contact internal and external customers proactively regarding service affecting outages Work with service providers and vendors to drive issues to resolution Provide excellent customer service while corresponding with customers via telephone and email Follow detailed instructions to perform basic network break/fix functions Document all pertinent information within the trouble ticket system Basic network related projects including documentation of assets and physical labeling of server/network devices. Provides escalation support to CMTS and router alarm troubleshooting Supports escalation of tru2way connectivity issues with DSG tunnel monitoring and break fix. Troubleshoots IP Multicast issues. Provides source and destination IP information to next level engineering. Supports all daily audit reports and closes gaps as needed, including but not limited to the following: CMTS check, IPv6 daily report and CMTS operation audits. Reviews all RMAs for all vendors and platforms for accuracy and proper routing. Supports the first responders to linear video issues and re-grooms channels as needed. Provides APEX first response troubleshooting. Supports the coordination and scheduling of all code upgrades on DM6400/CAP1000, APEX/SEM and Tandberg platforms. Ensures that network failures are restored in a timely manner. Participates in the review of catastrophic failures and provides feedback to prevent future occurrences. Escalates unresolved network issues to Engineering. Assists in the development and on-going training of XOC Technicians. Provides technical support during the rollout of new services and trains on new feature and technologies as required. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. WORK SCHEDULE: Must be amenable to report onsite (Mandaluyong City) Willing to work on shifting / night schedule
