Gas Turbines Systems Lead Design Engineer

You will need to meet the technical requirements whilst being focused on collaborating with various functions to deliver on strategic goals.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>With special focus on new product development programs (NPD) and projects in the Energy Transition value chain (i.e., Hydrogen economy and decarbonisation), as a Gas Turbines Systems Lead Design Engineer you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Contributing to innovative solutions ideation process, pioneering new technical concepts and being an ambassador of Energy Transition</li><li>Issuing of gas turbines auxiliary systems/process functional design technical documentation such as P&IDs and flow diagrams, complying with quality and time schedule targets as per project/program needs</li><li>Ensuring full compliance of auxiliary systems components design to project/program requirements (from Internal and external Customers and Regulatory)</li><li>Leading and maintaining the interfaces, initiatives, and data flow with other divisions (Product Leadership, Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistic cells, Global Service).</li><li>Analysing auxiliary systems on-design/off-design steady state and transient behaviours; ensuring fulfilment of functional requirements, by computational simulations through main commercial tools</li><li>Communicating project and program progresses and accomplishments to Senior Management</li><li>Selecting main GT Auxiliary Systems components, skids and valves, driving and influencing the configuration adoption</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li>Have an MSc/ Meng in Aerospace, Mechanical, Energy, Chemical or Nuclear Engineering</li><li>Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate, influence and motivate others from junior engineers to senior leadership</li><li>Have confidence and ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers</li><li>Have a breadth of significant experience within Design Engineering in the energy transition value chain (i.e., decarbonization/CCUS/hydrogen process)</li><li>Show excellent awareness, understanding and approach to energy sustainability trends; proactive promotion of technical solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste</li><li>Use your exceptional technical experience with commercial astuteness and business acumen to identify, innovate and execute new and complex concepts and ideas</li><li>Possess excellent knowledge of fluid dynamics, mechanical and thermal physical domains</li><li>Demonstrate success with technical problems resolution for machines and/or complex systems design; experience in hydrogen process equipment and solutions is desirable</li><li>Have extensive knowledge of engineering and fluid systems simulation commercial tools</li><li>Have significant experience with technical problems resolution for machines and/or complex systems design</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
