Investments in, and building strong competences across our technology pillars - SAP, Digital Enterprise Systems, Data and Analytics, Digital Operations, Security are key to an integrated digital that is positioned to deliver superior results. <br> <br> <b>About this role </b><br> <br> The PowerBI/SSAS Senior Software expert acts as the reference to provide technical expertise through BI development s in general using SSAS, Power BI, PowerBI Services in an Azure context. <br> <br> He /She p rovide s inputs& vision to SSAS and P o werBI standards and guidelines. He /She p erform s activities of BI architecture definition , design, development, unit testing, deployment and short-term warranty support. <br> <br> He /She also support s deployed integrations as a Level 2 /L3 support member. The role demands to lead by example , by demonstrating a po sitive attitude and team focus and by sharing knowledge and expertise with team . <br> <br> <b> Responsibilities </b><br> <br> People <br> <br> <ul> <li> Create s a culture of integrity and compliance </li> <li> Inspire s and sustains technical excellence, high performance and urgency regarding improving current practices </li> <li> Works with a strong team spirit in a collaborative environment </li> <li> Shares his knowledge, guides and support other team members </li> </ul> <br><br>Technology <br> <br> <ul> <li> Azure Analysis services, PowerBI, Azure DW, </li> <li> PowerBI administration </li> <li> Eventually other Microsoft tools like SSIS. </li> <li> Strong Data Warehousing skills are required </li> <li> Provide troubleshooting & diagnostic support at L2 / L3 level for the mentioned technologies in multiple time zones </li> <li> Strong understanding of Data Modelling & Star Schema concepts, data flow, and data governance and data structures. </li> <li> Should be comfortable with Performance improvement using Azure technologies and on-premise Microsoft technologies </li> <li> Build re-usable unit test documents and track into QA tools </li> <li> Ability to troubleshoot data issues </li> <li> Follow best practices in terms of development , unit testing, continuous integration, code documentation </li> <li> Provide input and implement solutions to drive the continuous improvement of the development and support teams</li> <li> Perform Project technical audit and reviews and implement efficiency </li> </ul> <br><br>Business <br> <br> <ul> <li> Strong Service Delivery attitude. Provide input and implement solutions to drive the continuous improvement of the development and support teams </li> <li> Technical implementations in a fast paced, changing environment </li> </ul> <br><br><b> Qualifications and Requirements </b><br> <br> Essential qualifications <br><br><ul> <li> Bachelor's degree, M.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or related </li> <li> Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience on Visualization tools, ETL applications or Software Development projects, working with the business users to analyse and solve their data requirements </li> <li> Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with the Microsoft Azure solutions. </li> <li> Azure Analysis services, </li> <li> PowerBI, PowerBI administration </li> <li> Eventually other Microsoft tools like SSIS. </li> </ul> <br> Other skills and abilities <br> <br> Though not essential, the following requirements will be desirable: <br><br><ul> <li> Exposure to OBIEE </li> <li> RDBMS and Unix/Linux shell scripting </li> <li> Knowledge of one ETL tool like Informatica PowerCenter </li> <li> Knowledge of Oilfield terminology and business practices </li> </ul> <br><br><b>SLB as an employer </b><br> <br> As a leading employer in our industry, SLB is proud to offer a highly competitive package of base and incentive compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the health, wellness and financial security of our employees and their families.
