His/her presence locally is mandatory for client contact, communication and interaction. <br><ul><li>Timely operational and IES evaluation studies and interpretation in Asia</li><li>All other IES activities/duties in Asia as indicated by the IES Manager /GBM</li><li>Supervising all Processing, Interpretation and Evaluation of WL/LWD logs, Geosteering, Geomechanics, Well Placement, Reservoir.</li><li>SQ reviews and data checks on processing of received data. Job brief/debrief with the local IES team.</li><li>Strong Client Interaction and coordination</li><li>Technical papers and presentations, internal mentoring of IES team on both sales and technical aspects.</li><li>Training courses and continuous drive for improvement</li><li>Positive rapport with Asia assets</li><li>WFT's high HSE standards - no LTI and no HSE incidents in IES operations</li><li>Build effective relationship with Asia clients to maintain and develop further businesses for WFT's various segments.</li><li>This is a senior level job. Responsibilities include fully integrated formation evaluation processes.</li><li>Collaborate with customer petroleum engineering staff to provide integrated solutions to Asia clients. Will provide direction / training to junior personnel.</li><li>Works with supervisor to ensure projects are completed in a timely & accurate manner. Relies on experience and judgment to plan & accomplish goals.</li><li>Aid to increase the existing market revenue in the Geozone/Country assigned and identify potential opportunities for IES projects, WL/DS to drive new revenue streams.</li><li>Direct WL/LWD technology sales.</li><li>Incremental WFT technology revenue - through sell-up and pull-through.</li><li>IES Solution sales, maintain and grow the market share in the Geozone.</li><li>Provide technical support differentiation versus our competitors.</li><li>Identify, communicate and offer maximum value of our technology in the Geozone/Country assigned</li><li>Regular client visits to understand their needs and understand the market.</li><li>Capture client visits and opportunities in Salesforce, follow up on IES involved tenders and quotes.</li><li>Ensure that all customers (internal and external) receive prompt follow-up on technical related issues</li><li>Play an active role in the technical society (SPE, SPWLA, etc.)</li><li>Participate in Lunch & Learn with clients in technology days/Knowledge sharing internally</li><li>Be proactive to complete the training on the technology assigned (Operations, QC, Software required for the interpretation, Sales training)</li><li>Participate to create or update once a quarter the business plan document</li><li>Work with direct reports to assist them in progressing in their career</li></ul> <br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li>5 Years' experience in IES services or related PL (WL, LWD, among others)</li><li>Min: Bachelor in Geology or Petroleum Engineering (Or equivalent experience in formation evaluation)</li><li>Language spoken min: English advanced in writing and oral communication</li><li>Can work independently with minor supervision</li><li>Basic in integrated Open Hole and Cased Hole and geological/petrophysical evaluation</li><li>Able to trouble shoot to provide adequate solutions to the clients in the presence of inconclusive and at times contradictory data</li><li>Skilled in WFT's tools and technologies</li><li>Good knowledge of how our operators operational decision-making process work</li><li>High degree of mobility, willing to relocate if required</li><li>Strong social skills, able to work in teams and share its overall knowledge with the team</li></ul>
