<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently seeking Onshore/Offshore Welders preferably with a background in the oil and gas (or mining) industry - for Victorian Shutdowns in 2023. <br><br>We have pre-shutdown work commencing in February, a Shutdown at the Otway Gas Plant in March followed by a shutdown at Bass Gas (Lang Lang) in April. <br><br>At this time we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place. <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Previous Shutdown experience is an advantage </li><li> You will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments </li><li> <b>Pipe welding - Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Chromoly, MMAW, GTAW, FCAW experience required.</b> </li></ul><br> A pre-employment medical will be required before commencement. <br><br><b>If available and interested - please apply ASAP.</b> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
