Plant Procurement Manager

JOB Description Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Plant Procurement Manager in our BATAM SENSOR Plant. As a Plant Procurement Manager, you are responsible to lead, develop and operationalize the productivity plan for all categories at plant level Aligned with the Corporate Strategy, you are in charge to implement the best terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve on a sustainable basis, the targets allocated to the team and the Purchasing Department (Yearly Productivities, Suppliers Quality & Deliveries performances): ü Responsible to build a detailed plan by Lever, to create the financial forecast and achievement of results ü Lead and manage the productivity operation for the plant, in collaboration with all other departments, and regional/global teams ü Formulate cross functional levers for Supplier performance, innovation, performance improvement and sustainable growth with key stakeholder validation. Drives productivity projects such as QVE, COS/Rebalancing and so on so forth ü Assess and manage the supplier base to ensure flawless sourcing in terms of quality, supply chain, financial risk and contractual discipline. Deliver on all operational and strategic KPI. ü Assess and manage multiple risk factors along the supply chain, e.g. currency risks, supplier risks including Tier 2/3, regulatory risks, etc. ü Support & align development and execution of categories strategy. Support Global negotiation. Work across the regional leadership teams to support their requirements within the global context. ü Maintain and track performance dashboard; accountable for BATAM SENSOR productivity performance ü Recruit, develop and mentor a strong team and drive succession planning for key role. Qualifications Qualifications Requirements: ü English: Full Professional Proficient ü Proficient in MS Office ü 5 + years of proven experience as procurement manager or similar role ü Solid knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management ü Capable to lead multi-country, complex negotiations ü Capable to lead complex contract negotiation ü Data analysis skills and financial aptitude ü BSc/BA in business administration, engineering, or related field Soft-skills: ü Open minded & results-oriented ü Leadership skills ü Teamwork spirit & multi-culture mindset ü Capable to work under pressure ü Good Analytical skills ü Able to identify and manage priorities ü Customer focused. ü Ability to work in a global & matrix organization Schedule: Full-time Req: 008BNZ
