Investments in, and building strong competences across our technology pillars - SAP, Digital Enterprise Systems, Data and Analytics, Digital Operations, Security are key to an integrated digital that is positioned to deliver superior results. <br> <br> <b>About this role </b><br> SLB has an opening for a Data Engineer/Analyst, who will be responsible for working with Business Systems Team in developing and deploying data engineering capabilities to the business segments. <br> <br> <b>Responsibilities </b><br> <ul> <li> Perform development in data ingestion, quality and transformation projects. </li> <li> Write unit test cases </li> <li> Deployment of Code in Test, Quality and Production environments </li> <li> Follows the technical governance (standards, best practices, etc.) </li> </ul> <br> <b>Qualifications and Requirements </b><br><br>Essential qualifications <br> <ul> <li> Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field </li> <li> 2-4 years working on a Processing mining tool like Celonis EMS (Preferred), uipath, Kryonsystems </li> <li> 4 to 6 Yrs. Of total Experience in development projects </li> <li> 3+ Years of experience in Big Data and Cloud Technologies </li> <li> Excellent communication, verbal and written skills </li> <li> Experience in Enterprise Data Management / Warehouses / Data Lakes </li> <li> Experience in developing production grade applications in Java/Scala/ Python. </li> <li> Experience in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Sqoop, Hive, SQL, Hbase, Unix Shell Scripting. </li> <li> Experience in cloud technologies like Google Cloud / Azure </li> <li> Experience with Agile development methodologies - JIRA, SCRUM, TFS-GIT etc. </li> <li> Hands on experience in working on data integration projects. </li> <li> Experience with testing, code review & multi-site deployments </li> <li> Experience in development of microservices </li> <li> Hands on experience in Spring Framework, Spring Boot. </li> <li> Experience in working with Real Time Integrations, IoT projects is a bonus, For instance, Kafka, NiFi. </li> <li> Knowledge of Informatica Big Data Management is a bonus. </li> </ul> Other skills and abilities <br> <br> <ul> <li> Ability to work in global distributed setting without supervision </li> <li> Self-driven, Proactive </li> </ul> <br> <b>SLB as an employer</b><br> As a leading employer in our industry, SLB is proud to offer a highly competitive package of base and incentive compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the health, wellness and financial security of our employees and their families.
