Maint/Eng Sr Associate

Overview This position is responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) systems. This position is also responsible for the implementation and compliance of PGCS Electrical, LOTO & GEHSMS Standards for all the existing and future installations. The position holder is also responsible to maintain the highest standards of GMP, Quality, AIBI, GCS and HSE in each activity through self and team members and to ensure strict compliance with the PGCS standards as well as the local SOPs. The position is accountable for upkeep of ReCon data logging system as well as anyother system associated with data monitoring/data logging. This position is accountable for caliberation of all plant instruments and scales. At the same time, assistance must be provided to Maintenance Engineer and Engineering Manager in meeting all KPI targets while remaining within the assigned MOH budget. The position is responsible to maintain critical E&I spare parts inventory through procurement of indirects from local and foreign vendors. Responsibilities Responsible for Corrective, Preventive and Predictive maintenance related to E & I systems. Lead roll out of Global Maintennce Strategy at plant and ensure its compliance by keeping close collaborate with Support Centre. Responsible to maintain critical spares inventory & procurement of indirects for plant electrical & instrmetation systems. Ensure uninterrupted power supply to production by managing LT Room operation & standby generators. Accountable for the implementation and compliance to PGCS Electrical & GEHSMS standards for all the existing and future installations. . Site LOTO champion for implementation of LOTO policy. Effectively coordinate with OEM representatives to ensure compliance with Annual Maintenance Contracts for equipments/systems. Also supervise these outsourced maintenance activities to ensure quality services are being received from the vendor. Ensures team is equipped with knowledge on all applicable standards by imparting tranings. Implement standard requirements & take all necessary actions in area of responsibility to maintain AIBI, FSSC 22000, PGCS Quality Standards and GEHSMS compliance. Ensure timely calibration of instruments, scales, checkweighers and metal detectors with the help of plant team and external vendors and maintain updated records. Manage and supervise contractor working on site, conduct safety and Q&FS induction of contractors before execution of job in the area of responsibility. Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for all the Engineering related documents. Monitor ReCon system and ensure troubleshooting related to the monitoring system. Ensure effective closure of safety and quality near misses in a timely manner. Support in site execution of CAPEX projects and ensure electrical works compliance as per PGCS standards. Ensure compliance of PepsiCo Global Control Standard for relevant control areas. Coordination with Regulatory body for site annual Electrical Inspection. Collaborate with production team to ensure smooth operations and close out assigned maintenance work orders. Qualifications Electrical/Electronic Engineer with 04 years of practical experience on Instrumentation (PLC, VFD, Transducers etc.) and Electrical (Power/Control Circuits & drawings, Cabling, Transformer, MCC, Motors, Circuit Breakers, Fire Alarm etc.) Good communication skills ( Verbal, Written & Computer) Good understanding of PepsiCo applicable standards such as AIBI, Quality, HSE and GCS, GEHSMS. Capability to work in a team environment and under pressure
