<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br><b> Project Manager </b><br><br><b> We are committed to providing the best possible project delivery to our clients across the Life Sciences sector, ensuring that they have well engineered plants capable of performing world leading production and research for the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. </b><br><br>Wood Process & Energy is recruiting for a Project Manager to manage Civil Projects and to support the delivery of Capital Projects against the Team Charter whilst following the Project Management Framework (PMF). <br><br>This is a permanent staff position based at a pharmaceutical client site in Worthing, West Sussex. The expectation is for you to attend site five days a week as this is a hands on role. <br><br><b> The Role </b><br><br> As the Project Manager, you will manage Site Projects and provide engineering technical ownership for equipment, plant, facilities as well as Civil design, oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure - Engineer Controlling the Work' (ECW). <br><br>Delivering professional engineering expertise to specific unit operations, to ensure the demonstrated design performance is maintained and continuously improved during the operational life cycle and business driven improvements including capital projects, upgrades, modifications, and adaptations meet their performance targets. If you meet some but not all of the criteria listed, please apply as training can be provided to support you in the role. </b><br><br><b> Expected </b><br><ul><li> Degree in an appropriate discipline of Engineering, or HNC/D in an appropriate discipline (Civil Engineering & Project Management preferred) </li><li> Knowledge of the site QMS and Regulatory Requirements (Safety and Quality) relative to the defined process </li><li> Experience in change management methodology and advocate of GPS principles </li><li> Knowledge of historical, current, and anticipated manufacturing plant and equipment.
