You will design, develop products, and provide solutions to meet client deliverables in the Subsea Controls portfolio. You will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.<br><br>As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: <br><ul><li>Interpreting and communicating of industry and international codes and standards.<br></li><li>Interpreting and implementing of client standards and global practices.<br></li><li>Ensuring and verifying technical compliance of products with specification, codes, standards, legislation and client technical requirements.<br></li><li>Engaging with all relevant stakeholders developing and maintaining effective relationships to meet project deliverables.<br></li><li>Reviewing of technical procurement specifications, parts and document suites.<br></li><li>Product and task ownership including the generation of robust design files to demonstrate due diligence.<br></li><li>Promoting Compliance, Quality & EHS integrity through developing succinct procedures, work instructions, product and process related documentation and creatively promote their use.<br></li><li>Involving in Professional representation of Baker Hughes in client and vendor focused design review.<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with relevant work experience. <br></li><li>Have 3D CreO Modelling and design of subsea controls products and sub-assemblies from concept through manufacture and build.<br></li><li>Have experience in designing of PCB enclosures and working within a SAP or MRP/ERP system.<br></li><li>Have understanding of product development lifecycles, design and document change control.<br></li><li>Have developing detailed design documentation and bills of materials.<br></li><li>Able to be Fluent English Speaker<br></li><li>Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.<br><ul><li>Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, where flexibility is possible as per Supervisor's approval.<br></li><li>Work from home or other locations is possible for this role, please discuss with your Supervisor.<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Working with us</b><br><br>Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
