This full-time role offers a salary of up to £29k p/a, depending on hours worked. Both full and part time options available.</p><p> </p><p>As an Events Manager, you will direct the events team to generate and grow income from the local community. You will also plan and manage an annual calendar of fundraising events and campaigns across the hospice's catchment area that will achieve specific financial objectives.</p><p> </p><p>In your first few weeks in this Events Manager role, you can expect to:</p><ul><li>Manage and support a small team of fundraisers</li><li>Support and give guidance to the Events fundraisers regarding the fundraising events</li><li>Be responsible for organising and managing specific fundraisers to achieve financial targets</li><li>Record and manage the income and expenditure of all events and fundraisers, ensuring they are all financially viable and maximise profits.</li></ul><p> </p><p>To apply for this Events Manager role, you will need 1-2 years of experience working within the Fundraising sector, with at least six months' experience in an event management role.
