Health, Safety & Environment Lead – Global Supply Chain

Based in Adelaide, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Health, Safety & Environment Lead – Global Supply Chain. Working closely with the HSE Director and Vice President of Global Supply Chain, you will be providing strategic and targeted support to business leaders in GSC, and specifically Gepps Cross Manufacturing, who have HSE accountabilities for managing risks, implementing systems, monitoring performance, and achieving objectives. As an HSE Lead you will also play an integral leadership role in driving consistency and excellence across all GSC operations in the Pacific, including working closely with other HSE Business Partners supporting the management of HSE risks at our facilities and distribution centres. This role includes an expectation of travel within the Pacific Zone in order to influence and assure HSE culture and practices. Some of the major responsibilities include however not limited to; Establish effective plans, governance forums and reporting to monitor the implementation of the HSE Management System for GSC operations in the Pacific, and specifically Manufacturing Provide support, coaching and advice to GSC and Site Leaders across the Pacific Act as lead investigator for major incidents that occur in Manufacturing Oversee and monitor consultation and issue resolution across Manufacturing About you You’re innovative and strategic, focused on finding opportunities and ways to optimise work processes. You have a safety mindset, go above and beyond to deliver extraordinary results and experiences for our employees. In addition, you possess the following relevant skills and attributes to be successful; Strong leadership and collaboration skills to build and maintain trust Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent Demonstrated experience of more than five years in a similar role Excellent understanding of HSE management in a GSC environment Good knowledge of electrical, machine and mobile plant risks, and other critical risks in a GSC environment Our culture is achievement-driven, diverse and truly global.
