Pacific Security Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pacific Security Lead to join our team. Based in Macquarie Park Sydney, this role will report into Director, Real Estate – Pacific Zone and have a functional report to Head of Security - EAJP. You will be responsible for all site security matters in Australia and New Zealand to enhance and grow our security governess and capabilities in Pacific. This includes physical security, investigations, security awareness, security training and documenting Security policies and procedures. Major responsibilities include however not limited to; Support Australia and New Zealand organisations in driving a strong focus on security; provide security leadership and guidance to the Executive Team, all employees, Site Security Co-ordinators, sites and operations Engage with the corporate security team and federal and local agencies to establish a network of available resources Document local country Security Policies and Procedures in line with Global Directives and country security best practice Deliver security training to the recently established Site Security Coordinators and local teams as required Drive continuous improvement in physical security aspects of operating locations, including Digital and automated security operational improvements Oversee the investigation process for all security incidents, including root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed Conduct security audits and risk assessments at Schneider locations. Participate in external and/or corporate security audits About you: You’re highly experienced and eager to drive security processes. You have a safety mindset, go above and beyond to deliver extraordinary results and experiences for our employees. In addition, you possess the following relevant skills and attributes to be successful; Demonstrated security experience of 10-15 years in private or Government sector Demonstrated leadership and executive management interaction experience Bachelor’s degree in Security or related field Professional certification in security is required, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) Experience interacting with Law Enforcement (Federal, State and Local) and regulatory agencies Demonstrated ability to develop, initiate and execute security plans from a wider strategy with flexibility and adaptability to change management 25% travel, primarily in Australia and New Zealand initially to visit the critical sites and moving forward on an-as- needs basis We’re a great place to work but we are continually striving to be the best place to work, join us and see how!
