Job Summary We are searching for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and help take our research and development program to new heights. As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience in highly technical field, such as computer science, software development, project management, cybersecurity, or engineering. As part of this role, you will be responsible for project planning, project management, and process implementation. Being the proxy-product owner, setting up the scrum teams, executing the project using the defined Scrum process, and continuously improving the team's practices. This role also develops product manuals, project documentation how-to guides, website help sections, journal articles, and other content that distills technical information with ease and clarity. Job Description Responsibilities: • Successful candidates will be strong leaders who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery. • Translating business requirements into technical specifications by decomposing user stories and features into individual units of work. • Coordinating with product team disciplines (e.g., UX/UI, DevOps, QA) to build, test, and deploy software products. • Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team of engineers within an Scrum environment. • Managing responsibilities across a portfolio of products. • Work closely with engineering and product management to plan, create, and maintain user-focused technical documentation for multiple product features or applications, in alignment with an established content strategy • Participate in requirement gathering and create gap analysis document. • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation. Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree. • Ideally 6 plus years of relevant experience in Project Management. • Leading distributed development teams, including both onshore, offshore, and contractor resources. • Strong communication skills and ability to grasp and convey complex product requirements or technical concepts. • Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative software development environment. • Strong business and technical vision. • Strong time management skills and ability to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities • Experience in any Project management tools like Rally, Jira etc. • Expertise in running Scrum. • Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences. • Experience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content. Preferred Skills: • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization • Firm understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) • Previous software development experience • Scrum or PMP certification.
