This position also requires to travel to rig site for bit runs.<br> <ul><li>Conducts all business activities in accordance to Halliburton Code of Business Conduct policies.</li><li>Responsible for providing drill bit product application recommendations and provide technical support in all aspects of drilling systems optimization.</li><li>Qualify customer objectives and requirements.</li><li>Coordinates with Region and Global Engineering teams to implement application specific product strategies and best practices.</li><li>Meet with customers on regular basis to provide technical support and recommendations.</li><li>Travel to field locations and visit customers at rig site to enhance product performance.</li><li>Responsible for introducing new technologies, monitoring, analyzing and documenting product run records.</li><li>Provides technical guidance and presentations to customers relating to product performance and new drill bit technology.</li><li>Qualifies customer for Drilling Optimization and Application Engineering projects and coordinates efforts.</li></ul><br><b>Qualifications/Requirements:</b><ul><li>Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering OR equivalent experience</li><li>Drill Bits Applications engineering experience preferred.</li><li>Strong MS Office experience</li><li>Ability to be on call outside of normal business hours</li><li>Thorough understanding of well planning, drilling optimization, formation evaluation tools and rig operations.</li><li>Rig site drilling optimization experience is a definite plus</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li><li>Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills</li><li>Must be a team player and willing to work in a team environment</li><li>Must have the ability to travel (typically travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, etc.)</li></ul><br> Under general supervision, assists in post-well evaluation of product performance, product application recommendations, and development of product performance optimization solutions. Provides technical and operational assistance to both external and internal customers to deliver effective technical solutions. Assists with developing and managing required product designs for an assigned area. Participates in developmental programs to accelerate learning. Learns product design theory and how to use technical software tools to perform their work.
