Job Summary Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS) is looking for an experienced Scrum Master who embodies the values of Agile and embraces Servant Leadership to join our Professional Services team. You will be expected to embed Agile practices, optimize team performance, be the servant leader and coach for your team day-to-day in a complex multi-customer landscape. The role requires balancing pragmatic application of Agile practices (today) while continually challenging the team. Partners with Product Owner to improve ways of working while collaborating with a global network of Scrum Masters and Agile Leaders to evolve best practices for the organization (tomorrow). Job Description Core Responsibilities Help your team embrace Agile and Scrum values and Principles effectively. Guide the team to establish predictable performance and optimize their velocity. Work with the Product Owner to align team with the product vision and sprint goals and participate in product backlog preparation activities. Create an environment of collaboration within the team that allows for open dialogue and productive resolutions. Facilitate the team’s progress toward sprint goals. Eliminate impediments so that the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of their sprints. Facilitate Scrum and Agile ceremonies such as: Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives Promote Agile quality practices, guiding the team in constantly improving the quality of their deliverables and meeting the Definition of Done (DoD). Build a successful team – Help the team manage interpersonal relationships, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Perform training sessions, targeted workshops, and coach teams on established and new agile processes. Report information on team performance and progress using key Agile metrics. What we’re looking for: A passionate and energetic scrum master to guide and support a cross functional Scrum team in a dynamic software development environment. A role model that enacts Agile behaviors while mentoring others on the Agile mind-set, behaviors, frameworks and practices. A strong mentor, someone experienced and confident with coaching at both the team and the leadership level. An excellent facilitator, someone who can build psychological safety within their teams, and help protect and shield their teams from outside distractions. A passion for new and developing Agile trends and willing to experiment, learn and drive innovation with their teams and peers. Ability to communicate Scrum principles internally & externally and educate audiences on Scrum framework implementation practices. Relevant Work Experience 5-7 Years Salary: Pay Range: $99,253.92 - $148,880.87 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
