<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />
<br />
Wood is currently recruiting for a Contracts Specialist with industrial or utility experience in the Fredericton, NB office. This role will be responsible for contract issues, negotiations, and/or administration of licensing agreements including renewal, new business, invoicing, credit holds, receivable issues and consolidations.</p>
<ul>
<li>Analyze and verify all contract requirements, pricing, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies, Client requirements and business unit procedures</li>
<li>Anticipate problems and initiate actions to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently</li>
<li>Perform contract administration, tracking, and monitoring of contract changes, deliverables, and funding limitations</li>
<li>Ensure deliverance of timely notices to customer for cost performance and customer correspondence</li>
<li>Procure and administer purchase orders and contracts for goods and services, as requested from Project personnel and maintain records as per established procedures (filing, etc.)</li>
<li>Ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and contract documents comply with established procedures</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Skills / Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Senior level, typically 10+ years of experience</li>
<li>Requires basic knowledge of construction and engineering processes</li>
<li>Cabable of researching contract information as required</li>
<li>Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word & Excel)</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to work efficiently and handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail</li>
<li>Comfortable working independently and within a multi-disciplinary team environment</li>
