<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood Process & Energy requires Principal Electrical Design services to support with a Pharmaceutical project on an initial 12 month contract. You will be based within our Glasgow office where we recognise the value of hybrid working. <br><br>Responsibilities <br><br><ul><li> Acting as the Lead Designer on projects as assigned by the Electrical Discipline Manager. </li><li> Checking of drawings in accordance with Company Procedures. </li><li> Self - starter and an ability to produce electrical deliverables with little input or guidance </li><li> Good understanding with respect to applicable international codes and standards and their application </li><li> High level of competency with respect to Micro - station and AutoCAD 2D and AVEVA PDMS E3D software </li><li> Experience of delivering the following deliverables - Substation design, Cable routing, Area classification layouts, Cable and MTO Schedules, Standard installation details, Lighting and earthing philosophies and layouts </li><li> Strong understanding of plant design and equipment layout and ability to coordinate with other discipline design groups to progress a joined - up plant design </li><li> Liaising with other disciplines as required </li><li> Management and governance of electrical workpacks for high value engineering centre </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Ideally a HNC in Electrical Engineering </li><li> A proven track record in the following project phases: FEED, Detailed Engineering (EPC) </li><li> Computer literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills </li></ul><br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
