We are serving customers in Data centres, Utilities, Industries, Buildings, Marine, Healthcare segments by providing installation, commissioning, warranty care, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting services, spare parts, equipment life extension, modernization and end of life services. As a Project Manager (PM) you will be responsible to ensure the successful delivery of major projects for strategic customers across EMEA. Such projects are mainly for data centre fit out, but could include other types of large and complex projects requiring site works. Eaton’s Data Centre projects can involve every aspect of power distribution from low to medium voltage, UPS (uninterrupted power supply), and automation such as EPMS (Energy Power Monitoring System). The PM brings electrical expertise, and as Eaton also offers DCIM (Data Centre Infrastructure Management) and SCADA systems, experience with automation is a definite asset. The PM is expected to provide technical and customer knowledge leadership within the wider organization. Your main responsibilities: Lead the execution of the project and be responsible to foster a Health and Safety culture within the project with the support of our EHS specialist Manage time, quality, cost commitment, for the project and drive change orders in cooperation with engineering, supply chain and site teams. Run the project financials (Revenue recognition, cash, risk & opportunities, Profit margin) Manage the customer contract and specifications and ensure alignment within the team with the contract As main point of contact between EATON and customer for its projects, the Project Manager ensure customer relationship management for the whole duration of the project and as such works closely with the Program Manager and the Sales of the region to ensure alignment Lead needs with Eaton internal engineering teams to align on the definition of deliverables as per technical specification and customer requirements. For that electrical background is a must and knowledge of datacenter environment is a plus Identify supplier needs and coordinate with supply chain for new supplier qualification, and ensure competitiveness of the solution PM is responsible for controlling and supporting the field operations tasks with respect to EHS, scope, schedule and quality. The Site manager and Site coordinator is functionally reporting to the PM Continually identify ways to improve the way Eaton execute projects and share learning. This may involve developing new initiatives and recommending better ways to work based on analysis and learning on sites as well as overall customer trends Site assignment for a short period of time can be necessary depending on the progress of the execution of the project Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Education level: Bachelors’ Degree or Masters' Degree from an accredited institution with a strong preference toward electrical engineering is highly desirable Technical skills: Several years of customer project/site management experience plus An equivalent of hands-on site works in Data Centres is desirable Experience with other large and complex industrial projects will also be considered, especially if they included works in automation Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies - PMP certification is a plus Contract management & Commercial awareness Site activities on construction site with general contractor interface Good knowledge of electrical components of power distribution Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics - Knowledge of data centre environment is a plus Strong knowledge of / experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Ms Project) Soft skills: Ability to stay organized and work in autonomy Strong, self-directed, collaborative team player with interpersonal skills Strong collaborative team player Comfortable providing technical presentations to peers, customers and leadership regarding the details of technical issues and project status What we offer you: Permanent contract in a fast-growing global company Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team Flexible working solutions (home office, remote, flexible working hours, part time etc.) are implemented across different EMEA locations, check out with the site HR what type of flexible working solution is available for this role.
