Job Details –Strategic Transformation Projects The Role – Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives Location – Gurgaon or Hyderabad or Ahmedabad The Grade – 11 The Team – The Data Transformation team is responsible for driving key automation projects, machine learning based solutions and lean initiatives across S&P Global Market Intelligence. We are responsible for creating, planning, and delivering transformational projects for the company using state of the art technologies and data science methods, developed either in house or in partnership with vendors. We are transforming the way we are collecting the essential intelligence our clients need to do decision with conviction, delivering it faster and at scale while maintaining the highest quality standards. Data Transformation have three major functions – Cognitive Automations, RPA and Data Management. The Impact Person in this role will be responsible for leading the large-scale strategic transformation initiative related to the area of machine learning based data extraction solutions. The role involves creating and maintaining the momentum with stakeholders, focusing on value and incremental results while continuously looking for the latest and newest technologies and machine learning solutions available for various uses cases across the Market Intelligence Division. Responsibilities Develop project plans, analyze, interpret project requirements, identify risks and lead an end to end execution of the key strategic transformation initiatives. Conducts high-level business impact analysis to determine implementation approach, structure, scope, resource requirements, risks, organizational impact and priorities of the strategic initiatives. Defines business/systems requirements by facilitating user meetings, leveraging data and interviewing users, in the context of identifying trends and developing use cases to enable continuous improvement Partner with developers, business units, and scrum teams to develop best in class machine learning based solutions and interactive user interfaces to provide enriching user experience and reducing time to market. Monitor project progress by tracking activity, escalating problems, publishing progress reports and dashboards, including providing executive level summaries to senior management. Managing and coordinating with QA and UAT teams during all test phases, aligned to the acceptance definition, you will ensure that there is effective issue/defect management and prioritization. Build, synthesize and present strategic insights and recommendation to the senior stakeholders and ensure the continuous communication with the project stakeholders. Partner with MI Data teams to drive the adoption of data standards, definitions, structures, hierarchies, taxonomies, attributes, and models to support and optimize end-to-end business solution. What are we looking for – Basic Qualifications Established project management skills with a proven track record of leading and/or collaborating with teams, operations, and vendors in complex global matrix structures and business models. Passion for understanding, learning, and identifying the latest technology trends and machine learning based solutions. Ability to drive initiatives and function independently yet transparently with minimal supervision. Openness to continuously learning, upskilling, and contributing to building solutions firsthand if necessary. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with the key stakeholders to work towards generating the value for the organization. Open-minded professional enjoying and used to work in a multicultural company. Preferred Qualifications Certified Project Management Professional with 5 years + experience in the role of Project Manager/Business Analyst. Industry recognized technical certifications i.e. SAFe, PMP, CBAP or Prince2, Exposure and literacy around Machine Learning, Python, Azure DevOps and Automation.
