Workplace Experience Engineer

Who are we hiring? The Workplace Experience Engineer is a member of the Workplace Experience & Delivery organization This individual contributor is a member of a team responsible for providing exceptional Technology experiences through proactive, customer-focused and responsive support for IT systems and hardware located at all company properties. They will also be responsible for delivering concierge quality support and delivery services to the Office of the Chairman and his support staff. The Workplace Experience Engineer will respond to incidents and requests and provide technology solutions to quickly resolve issues, improve resiliency, and deliver critical applications in support of the business. This role requires a customer focused individual with a diverse range of technology, a “hands-on” attitude, passionate about improving the employee’s technology experience while able to work with limited supervision. What will you do? • Daily management of assigned ServiceNow tickets. This includes acknowledging, maintaining work in progress logs and driving resolution of incidents and requests across the MSG Enterprise. • Responsible for the engagement, support and monitoring of the technology tools, platforms and assets for the Office of the Chairman. • Delivers concierge quality support services both on demand and proactively – monitors for potential problems leveraging adopted and supported tool sets, reacts to avoid problems before they happen. • Equipment receiving/logistics, configuration, staging, functional testing, implementation, on-site functional validation, and support. • Partner across technology teams to resolve support issues. • Supports a diverse catalog of technology products and platforms from laptops, tablets and mobile devices to at times personal devices interfacing with company platforms. • Provide clear, professional, and timely updates to customers and management. •Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. • 7x24 on-call availability to respond to support requests and flexible work schedule to respond to the needs of the business. • Identifies problems and takes corrective action within established guidelines. • Work closely with Corporate Service Desk when updating standard operating procedures. • Document existing computing environment and ensure documentation remains current. What do you need to succeed? · 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology · 1-2 years Executive Support experience in a medium but upscale boutique environment or large company setting. · Minimum of 3 years of experience in End User Support, endpoint configuration, installation and upgrades. · Must possess a strong executive presence – uses the appropriate language, articulates points succinctly and clearly – adopts to the communicative needs of their client. · Interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers, staff, senior management, vendors and contractors. · Flexible working style, able to quickly adapt to diverse and changing environments and timelines. · Highly creative team player with a high level of energy and commitment to excellence.
