About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Cloud Security who has proficiency with cloud security architecture and engineering for providing guidance and best practices on securing cloud environments. Responsibilities Leading, managing, and motivating a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure the success of the cloud security program. Conducting oversight of security technology products for network, systems, and data. Working with the cloud owners to understand cloud vision and requirements and support creation and compliance of technical cloud security standards within the company. Supervising cloud security and activities related to detection of vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and architecture designs, and remediation tracking utilizing a wide array of security controls and toolsets. Driving strategy and projects that increase the overall growth and maturity of the cloud security program. Assisting in improving and automating the existing cloud security lifecycle. Including but not limited to, data ingestion & normalization, compliance metrics and detections on assets. Partnering with tools and technology teams to troubleshoot, develop, select, implement, and automate appropriate security solutions to keep system data protected from internal and external threats. Working with the Business to effectively communicate the risks of identified cloud vulnerabilities and make recommendations regarding the selection of cost-effective security controls to mitigate identified risks. Providing technical support for cloud security projects. Providing analysis and validation post remediation, opportunities for improvements and out of the box thinking for optimizations and solving roadblocks. Interfacing with third-party vendors and other Conduent organizations in improving the overall cloud security process. Requirements Have 6+ years of experience in the cybersecurity / cloud security domain. Have 2+ years of people management experience. Experience with least one of cloud platforms, such as, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Google Cloud. Experience with evaluating new cloud and security technologies. Understanding of cloud security standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO, CSA). Experience in providing cloud security strategy, performing discovery assessments, and developing compliance requirements. Demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity cloud security and analysis. Experience with a variety of technical concepts with focus on cloud computing, automation, networking, systems administration, application development, and information security best practices. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience. Professional Certifications Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, ISC2, SANS). IT Security Certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Systems Manager), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), or CISA (Certified Information System Auditor). For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
