Our Subject Matter Experts offer decades of experience working in the federal marketplace and the data visualization environment. The AF NTI Analyst will provide support to the AF NTI Program to significantly improve the responsiveness of the national Intelligence Community (IC) to the needs of Air and Space Component organizations (e.g., Component Numbered Air Forces [CNAF], Air and Space Operations Centers [AOC], and Air Force Targeting Center [AFTC]) at the operational and tactical levels of war. Responsibilities Maintain situational awareness of world events, including US and allied air operations, through both classified and unclassified mediums to support the information requirements of AF NTI customers. Analyze incoming message traffic to identify evolving situations about aerospace operations requiring time-sensitive SIGINT support, alert AF NTI leadership at their respective site, and make recommendations on courses of action where appropriate. Monitor SIGINT reporting through provided information processing systems and through manual database queries. Disseminate time-critical SIGINT threat analysis, target identification, geo-location, and other intelligence products to AF NTI customers in support of dynamic air, space, and information operation, including but not limited to dynamic targeting, combat search and rescue (CSAR)/personnel recovery, and landing/drop zone assessments and threat warning. Research historic and anticipated collection opportunities and activity periods to support AOC ISR planners in maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of Air and Space Component ISR operations. Communicate and interact with NSA/CSS target offices of primary interest and airborne collection management to coordinate integrated, complimentary planning, employment, and assessment of air and space components, and national cryptologic assets and resources. Provide supported PED teams with specialized expertise regarding the current capabilities, limitations, and PED architecture of ISR platforms, NCCs, and AF ISR agency intelligence production organizations. Provide support to AOC teams with the assessment of ISR collection products to ensure they are being adequately processed, exploited, and disseminated. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 4+ years of experience required as a cryptologic/intelligence analyst, linguist, or collector and expertise in the following subject areas: Joint and combined Air and Space Operations Centers processes Aerospace operations planning and associated documents, like Air Tasking Orders (ATO) and Special Instructions (SPINS) National intelligence collection platforms and processes Airborne and other tactical intelligence collection platforms and processes Cryptologic collection, dissemination, and retrieval systems, and databases and methods SIGINT collection management processes and strategies and a familiarity with other intelligence disciplines’ collection management processes and strategies United States Signals Intelligence Directives (USSID) and cryptologic policies and a familiarity with other AF and DoD Intelligence directives and policies Classification manuals/guidelines and Information Sanitization processes TS/SCI with CI Poly required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Practical/working knowledge of the following: NSANet, JWICS, and SIPRNet Chat tools (e.g., Pidgin, ChatSurfer, and Jabber) Computer-based tools (e.g., Test Flight, NSRP, PULSE, METRICKS, DEFSMAC/DAAR, and Grapevine) Windows applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Internet Explorer).
