Working with industry leading, alliance partners across architecture, development, and multiple other technologies, we interact with all technology platforms and provide tangible technology delivery at scale.We are building a suite of connected and intelligent capabilities, adopting new and emerging technologies, and using the latest Agile, Cloud and DevOps approaches to maximise our effectiveness along with client value from public cloud offerings.</p><p></p><p><b>Skills and experience</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience of working for an IT Service Provider/Managed Services Provider ideally delivering cloud based services or infrastructure services</p></li><li><p>Capable of establishing a Capacity and Performance Management offering</p></li><li><p>Experience delivering in an ITIL environment </p></li><li><p>Experience of DevOps &amp; cloud practices across major public cloud providers</p></li><li><p>Project Management &amp; Agile delivery methods</p></li><li><p>Visualisation tooling and analytics </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p></p><p>A Cross Platform and Engineering Manager is required to join the new Cloud Managed Services function within PwC Operate with responsibility for breaking down client infrastructure usage into meaningful information &amp; insights. </p><p></p><p>The Cross Platform and Engineering Manager is responsible for creating the environment demand and capacity management process and discipline, instilling this across the team using Jira/Confluence. </p><p></p><p>The Cross Platform and Engineering Manager will also establish and build relationships with internal stakeholders and use the insights they have to inform potential opportunities &amp; optimisations with clients. </p><p></p><p><b>Key responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Support &amp; improve the enablement of the cloud managed services function</p></li><li><p>Lead on tooling &amp; automation for reporting, trend analysis, idle usage &amp; wastage of client infrastructure usage.</p></li><li><p>Hands on leadership for the tech delivery enabling platforms (e.g. Jira/Confluence)</p></li><li><p>Support the service reviews with infrastructure optimisation &amp; improvement recommendations</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with the Cloud Managed Services FinOps team for consumption optimisation &amp; consumption improvements</p></li><li><p>Generate capacity and performance reporting &amp; forecasting, be responsible for ensuring that services and infrastructure are able to deliver the agreed service level targets for capacity and performance in a cost effective and timely manner</p></li><li><p>Lead on estate visualisations for ease of consumption of data</p></li><li><p>Ensure that IT infrastructure capacity is optimised and matched to the evolving agreed needs of each client.</p></li><li><p>Provide advice and guidance on capacity and performance related issues.</p></li><li><p>Managed environment demand to ensure it is economical &amp; delivered in a timely manner. </p></li><li><p>Lead on power policy management, idle usage, infrastructure utilisation waste and right sizing</p></li><li><p>Ability and willingness to travel for Client or internal related meetings</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>
