<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for you to lead the MA Filmmaking programme at our prestigious film school, widely acknowledged as one of the best in the world and recent recipient of world leading specialist provider status by Office for Students (OFS), the regulatory body responsible for UK Higher Education.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will have substantial experience as an industry practitioner and a Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, together with extensive teaching experience in practice-based filmmaking at tertiary level, an understanding of film school traditions and the culture of conservatoire-based film education. You should also possess significant experience in course/programme management and in the supervision and development of teaching staff. A teacher training qualification will be an advantage.</p>
<p>The appointee will be responsible for supervising the planning, design, and continuous enhancement of the filmmaking curriculum. Reporting to the Director of Studies, you will implement agreed strategies and operational plans, monitor course modules and the programme as a whole and lead academic staff on assessment, course monitoring, delivery, and review. You will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of programme delivery, standards, and student outcomes.  </p>
