<p><b>Job description</b></p>
<p>We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic organist, pianist and educator to join our forward-thinking, innovative and thriving music department. The department serves three schools – Senior Boys, Senior Girls and Sixth Form that encompass Years 7 – 13, across two campuses. This role starts in September 2023. </p>
<p>The School Organist would be expected to play for chapel services each morning, Monday to Friday, at 8:30am. There would also be further special events and services the organist would be required to play for. The School Organist would also be expected to provide piano accompaniment for choral ensembles and individual students, both for rehearsals and performances in concerts and examinations throughout the academic year.</p>
<p>The successful candidate would have the opportunity to teach a significant number of piano students throughout the week, both in the Senior and Prep Schools; this could also include the teaching of organ, music theory and an additional instrument/singing, depending on the skills of the applicant.</p>
