Infrastructure Architect

Responsibilities: As a Solution Architect, you will use your expertise to construct specific and detailed solutions that encompass process, technology, project and staffing plans. You will lead the design, assurance and solution approvals and customer facing solution deliverables and artefacts: · Translating the client’s IT requirements into specific systems, applications and/or process designs for custom technical solutions. · Balancing the needs of sales and delivery to design a solution that meets or exceeds the requirements of service delivery. · Partnering with the wider Wipro business lines for integrated deals that incorporate our Applications, Engineering, Security and Business Process capabilities as required. · Aligning with partners as required to strengthen our value proposition and encourage the benefit of our ecosystems and alliances. Tasks will include · Working in a Physical/Virtual team to create value propositions to customers · Participation in the construction of financial models that align with custom solution proposal. You will be the primary expert in constructing the specific solution, scope document, risk profile, and corresponding financials. · Composing applicable services agreements (e.g. Statements of Work, SLA documentation, etc.) that specify processes, technology, staffing, deliverables, commitments, risk, and project management aspects of a solution. · Constructing risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans relative to custom solution proposals. · The Solution Architect will serve as a services subject matter expert to both internal and external customers and may participate in leadership presentations to customers. · You will follow all organizational standard operating procedures relative to cost modelling, approvals and reviews, and all other associated workflow, documentation and deliverables. · Understanding the pricing and commercial models required and aligning cost inputs to mitigate any commercial exposure. Understanding the appropriate balance of handling fixed and variable costs inputs when translating these to the customer pricing model. · Working with wider non-technical bid team, including finance, sales, legal and commercial to give the solution perspective to any discussions. · The Solution Architect participates in applicable win-loss reviews and incorporates learnings into future solutions. · You will be responsible for technology choice and integration. Able to present, communicate and articulate the solution to the customer in clear and concise language appropriate for different audiences, depending on the stakeholders. · Responsibility extends beyond the sale into transition and transformation phase in the form of architecture review boards and innovation councils · Qualification / Experience § 5+ years’ experience in Pre-Sales / solution design and solutions roles in a global organization is mandatory within at least a 12+ year IT Services career § Well versed in managed services proposals and service capabilities. § Fluent English native spoken and written language is a required. § Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills. § Excellent customer handling and negotiation skills. § Skilled and strong understanding of the building blocks of a solution and able to consider target operating models, service design and end to end solution requirements. § Understanding of Data Centre Hosted and Cloud solutions like – Azure, Google, AWS § Understanding of Workplace solutions like O365, Service Desk, Service Management, § Understanding of network and software defined networking. § Understanding of security aspects around the infrastructure solutions § Must be self-driven and must have strong people management skills § Exposure to Next-Gen solutions leveraging technology like- Digital, Automation, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence. § Exposure to process re-engineering, process consulting and / or operational management roles.
