Context The mission of the Discovery Data Sciences of Excellence (DDS CoE) is to use high throughput technologies such as next generation sequencing (NGS), structural biology, advanced bioinformatics and immunoinformatics to analyse DNA sequences, proteomics acquisitions and subject immune repertoires in order to answer questions about the biology and impact of vaccininationes on different diseases. Among the main research interests are systems vaccinology, population genetics and evolution of pathogens, and their interaction with the host. To this purpose, we both use existing computational methodologies and develop novel approaches that can elucidate correlations between genotype and phenotype. The aim of this proposal is to open three curricular internship positions to develop the following specific projects.
