Project Application Engineer – SIS Engineer

What will you do? The purpose of this role is to provide project support services on one or multiple functional safety projects in process automation. Develop ESD, F&G or control application for safety applications; Design and implement functional safety solutions based on client’s requirements; Work with customer in defining detailed application, system, and hardware requirements; Work from process and instrumentation drawings to design applications and control strategies; Develop software and system configuration, safety control application; Prepare test, product and project documentation; Participate in customer acceptance tests; Performs any other task requested by manager related to the job scope. Essential Competencies Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, IT, applied informatics or automation Fluent level of written and spoken English is a must Desirable Competencies Experience with projects in process automation industry; Experience with PLC; Being flexible in working on projects at customer premises and travelling to customers - up to 50%; Customer approach, team spirit and good communication and presentation skills; Valid driving license (Category B); MS Excel advanced user; Knowledge of a second language, such as German/French/Italian/Spanish is a plus What's in it for me?
