About the Role This role will be solutions-driven, works well in a team environment, individually and possess exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities Coordinating/leading the implementation of contractual deliverables of hardware/software needed for the City of Cambridge employees. Providing direct support for Microsoft Windows desktop PCs, Windows Servers and printers at the required client site. Working within within a team and individually to manage the daily tasks needed for proactive support monitoring. Troubleshooting PC, Printer and Server issues at the client site. Responding in a timely manner to service requests that occur at client site. Prioritizing and triaging multiple issues during the daily work. Developing detailed system documentation and providing system training on new initiatives. Coordinating with outside groups including our Helpdesk IT Services to ensure all issues are addressed. Performing work at a client site to support Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Conduent Application daily needs. Requirements Use knowledge with Microsoft Server and MS Active Directory to maintain server file security, printer server management, DHCP and DNS. Be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all stakeholders. Have working knowledge of TCP/IP, routers, and switches, experience with JIRA. Able to be self-motivated.
