<br><br> Senior Installation Methods Engineer, Lisbon<br><br>  <br><br> Staff role<br><br> Start date: Urgent <br><br> Location: Lisbon<br><br> Engineering Level: Senior <br><br> Attractive package available<br><br>  <br><br> For one of our EPCI clients in Lisbon, we seek to make the addition of a Senior Installation Methods Engineer on a permanent basis. <br><br>  <br><br> The focus of the Lead Engineer is across the Africa, Middle-East and Caspian project business unit, with responsibility for the installation of subsea structures, flexible flowlines, umbilicals, cables, jackets, decks, bridges, risers systems and mooring systems. You will prepare the scope of work and then support the offshore team during the operations. You will ensure the interfaces with the Client, suppliers, offshore crew and the design team.<br><br>  <br><br> Should you be interested and matching the below criteria, I would love to hear from you further?<br><br>  <br><br> Your main responsibilities will be as follows:<br><br>  <br><br><ul><li>To manage a team of engineers and a package</li><li>To manage all external (clients, suppliers) and internal (other disciplines, installation, manufacturing, purchase) interfaces</li><li>To prepare documents and preliminary studies related to tenders, FEEDs and projects developed by the Group</li><li>You are autonomous and supervise the engineering activities related to the preparation and Offshore installation of the products</li><li>You will plan, prepare and confirm specific procedures (validation test on site, transportation and installation) and associated calculation notes (design lifting slings) by defining priorities</li><li>You will participate to vessel mobilization as well as installation phases on vessel in order to validate technical solutions by respecting the rules of the Group HSEQ</li><li>You ensure that your activities are conducted in compliance with the Project standards in terms of Quality, Cost & Time</li><li>You are the technical owner and ensure choice of contractors and supervise subcontracted studies,</li><li>You validate concepts and manage changes accounting for HSEQ criteria</li><li>You validate developments and propose appropriate improvements, taking into account the group's HSEQ standards</li><li>You actively participate in the development and progression of our team</li><li>You actively participate in the consolidation of the expertise of the installation Methods team</li><li>You offer innovative solutions that enable the reduction of costs.</li></ul> <br><br> Background & Education:<br><br>  <br><br> You will be able to demonstrate knowledge, skills, experience and behaviours in the following areas:<br><br>  <br><br><ul><li>Graduated with a Master of Engineering and relevant work experience in the energy sector,</li><li>Experience in the installation of Subsea Structures Installation and/or Flexible Flowlines/Umbilicals is required (minimum 5-6 years),</li><li>Experience in Deepwater projects</li><li>Experience in Mooring Installation and Floating wind Turbines for Renewables is an additional asset,</li><li>You have experience of Site (yards) and Offshore Operations,</li><li>Your autonomy, your ability to coordinate and communicate are major assets to succeed in this position,</li><li>You have experience in leading teams,</li><li>Your English is fluent.</li></ul> <br><br> Logistics:<br><br>  <br><br><ul><li>Majority of the work is carried out in either the Lisbon office, or the home office</li><li>Requirement for some international travel</li><li>Offshore/Off-site location during project execution phases as required.</li></ul> <br><br> For more information or to apply, please do not hesitate to contact Angus McCormick at Leap29 directly. <br><br>  <br /><br />To help Leap29 find you that perfect job, we need to store and process your personal information.<br />That means that your details will be entered into Leap29's database and our consultants may contact you from time to time with relevant job opportunities.<br />By applying you're confirming you're happy for us to do that!
