Senior Consultant, Global Infrastructure Advisory

The Opportunity: KPMG’s growing and market-leading Global Infrastructure Advisory practice is looking for an individual who is interested in infrastructure & transportation planning, innovation & change management, process improvement and strategic development, to join our practice in Vancouver. For more information visit: Global Infrastructure Advisory What you will do Working on and leading multi-disciplinary teams on a variety of projects Communicating with different parties such as clients and other advisors Preparing and distributing reports and proposals Preparing proposals for RFP submissions Perform research, data gathering and analysis Assist with the development, and review of infrastructure contracts Assist with project risk assessment including identifying and quantifying project risks Assist in the commercial structuring of complex contracts Conduct thorough due diligence on financial and operational data Participate in strategic advice to clients based on detailed analysis Assist in preparing strategic plans, business plans and business cases Contribute to a dedicated team of professionals in delivering advisory services to clients What you bring to the role Undergraduate degree in engineering, business, commerce, or similar area 3-5 years of experience in a relevant industry, preferably with exposure to transportation projects Demonstrable excellence in presentation writing and an ability to think critically Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving capabilities Understanding of strategic frameworks, project management and excellent presentation development Experience drafting strategies, business plans and team workshops Excellent writing and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills A team-oriented attitude, an ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team Proven capability of working within a multi-disciplinary team Demonstrated initiative and ability to communicate and engage with diverse groups Flexibility to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities Strong quantitative and computer skills Ability to travel within Canada and abroad, as necessary.
