You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining market leading systems using Microsoft’s .NET Framework along with various AWS cloud platform services. Your strong proficiency with ASP.NET, C
, and SQL programming along with AWS Serverless architectures will be used extensively in this role. At IHS Markit, we use modern development services and tools such as GitLab, TeamCity, AWS, Serverless, DataDog, Artifactory, Confluence, and Jira. In addition to the design and development work, you will be required to take on initiatives and collaborate extensively with stakeholders and within the development team to achieve positive outcomes. What you’ll work on: Design, develop, and implement heavily transactional and multi-tiered Web applications AWS technologies and agile methodologies, including GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Terraform etc Database development including stored procedures, performance tuning etc Provide level 2 & 3 support for your application, working closely with product and account management teams Assist the Product Management group in specifying requirements into technical requirements Collaborate with product owners to further value proposition of our applications What we look for: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related field 4-6 Years in building large scale web-based systems in a Microsoft Environment (ASP.Net, C
