The Software Developer will assist with the development, maintenance, testing, and deployment of software code in support of NGA business applications. The Software Developer will interface with other team members and customers/users to collect requirements from the government leads and consumers of business data and applications. The Software Developer will research and implement automated DevOps solutions to achieve continuous integration while enhancing the automated testing and deployment of business software. Responsibilities Develop applications using any of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, ReactJS, Node.js, or Express Drive continuous improvements in deployment, management, and monitoring of infrastructure and application’s web services Design, create, and document cloud architecture diagrams and cloud policies Utilize Agile development methodologies Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage AWS cloud-based system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of systems. Install and configure software in the C2S Cloud environment Other duties as assigned Qualifications BA/BS and 3+ years of relevant experience OR High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of relevant experience Object-Oriented design experience DevOps experience Experience with automated testing and deployment Experience developing software in the AWS or C2S Cloud environment Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a CI poly Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong working experience in all phases of the SDLC Experience with the following tools: Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, and SonarQube or equivalent Strong knowledge of NoSQL: DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc. Experience in building REST APIs and Web Services Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels, and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications Must be capable of quickly learning new systems and associated software applications for proficient execution of tasks Must be capable of managing multiple projects with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment Must be able to speak effectively before groups of internal and/or external customers or employees How you’ll grow    At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
