Responsibilities Overview The IT Infrastructure Operation Manager will work to get their respective area in the IT department aligned with the company's overall goals. Ensure the security, availability, and performance of the server systems for the enterprise of a global manufacturing company. Ensure resources are achieving maximum effectiveness and efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage IT staff that supports the Systems, Network, Telecom, applications, and data centers for a global enterprise spanning four continents • Manage storage systems that span across several sites that include SAN's, NAS, and DAS systems. • Monitor all systems, network, and applications ensuring maximum availability and performance. • Manage backups all production data and ensure restoration time is minimal as needed by the business. • Manage and maintain the datacenters for all domestic and international sites. • Manage security and anti-virus systems to protect systems from external and internal threats. • Manage all security patching across the entire infrastructure and be able to lead zero-day attack response. • Manage the company's e-mail and other computer-based communication systems. • Must be highly organized and have a firm grasp of processes as well as Service Management. • Significant experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, AD, SAN/NAS technology, Antivirus, Backup and Orion monitoring systems • Must possess ability to schedule and prioritize work for a departmental staff. • Understanding of ITIL Service Management • Must have a good understand of OSI layers • Must have a good understanding of Network troubleshooting and Network tools • Must possess analytical ability to proactively identify and resolve service level problems. • Design, integrate, and administer the servers and network operating systems for all domestic and international locations. • Create and document policies and procedures to be followed by the IT Infrastructure Operation staff • Motivate staff though building career paths and setting professional goals. • Perform annual performance reviews to the staff. • Work with department heads to identify IT needs and provide solutions • Work with IT management and help design a long-term global vision • Any other tasks as assigned Qualifications • Any Graduate/Master’s degree with Computer Background. • 10 years in the computer industry with at least 5 years in a supervisory role • Extensive knowledge working with complex Windows environments • Good written and verbal communication skills • Certifications in Microsoft Technologies, ITIL Foundations V3 OSI Systems, Inc. has three operating divisions: (a) Security, providing security and inspection systems, turnkey security screening solutions and related services; (b) Healthcare, providing patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology and anesthesia systems; and (c) Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, providing specialized electronic components and electronic manufacturing services for original equipment manufacturers with applications in the defense, aerospace, medical and industrial markets, among others.
