We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools. <br><br><b> Partner with the best </b><br><br>As an Engineer - Electrical Hardware (m/f/d) you will be part of the engineering team working enthusiastically on the development of new and the maintenance of existing electronic instruments designed to provide the energy industry with important data on conditions in new and existing oil and gas wells. <br><br>As an Engineer - Electronic Hardware (m/f/d) you will be responsible for: <br><ul><li>Developing, testing and documenting of high temperature analog and digital electronics <br></li><li>Simulating of electronic circuits with SPICE, as well as testing and characterization of electronic circuits under high temperature and vibration/shock conditions <br></li><li>Designing, testing, qualification and field failure analysis from commercialization to complete design cycle of electronic circuits <br></li><li>Developing assemblies of several electronic circuits in close cooperation with an interdisciplinary team <br></li><li>Developing, certification and documentation of test systems including hardware and software with external partners <br></li><li>Executing electronic systems designing and testing, data analysis, and performance optimization in the laboratory <br></li><li>Working with modern laboratory equipment such as spectrum- and impedance analyzers, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, PXI systems <br></li><li>Exemplifying compliance with all applicable health, safety, environment, and export control policies and regulations <br></li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will: <br><ul><li>Have successfully completed your Bachelor or Master studies in electrical engineering <br></li><li>Have considerable hands-on experience designing (Altium Designer, Mentor Xpedition), prototyping, testing, custom electronic boards <br></li><li>Have experience in design and optimization of analog and digital electronics for data acquisition and signal processing <br></li><li>Have experience with sensor signal processing circuitry, approaches and workflows <br></li><li>Have a good understanding of modeling and simulation with SPICE-based simulators (SIMetrix), MATLAB/Simulink and similar tools <br></li><li>Have a very good command of written and spoken English, as well as good presentation skills <br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
